These are from a while back but nevertheless are great examples of hilarious translations.
Somehow I have never thought of salt as delicious.
And, in my very small childhood, Santa was as untouchable as Elliot Ness.

What do you mean - salt IS delicious! ;) Haven't you ever heard of that fairy tale about the King's three daughters who must prove how much they love him. The youngest daughter says she loves him as much as salt. The story is similar to King Lear.
